14 indie studios in showcase. 17 talks. 3 workshops. A VIP dinner with artist Marco Vale. A community dinner with 85 people. And 917,098 impressions on Steam: the first time the Óbidos Vila Gaming brand appeared on the platform.

What Was DevLogs
DevLogs is the programme Codfish Academy runs inside Óbidos Vila Gaming: the annual games event at the Óbidos Technology Park. It brings together indie studios, students, artists, programmers, game designers, and regional stakeholders for a full programme of showcase, talks, workshops, and community events.
The 2026 edition included 14 playable game demos, including 2 VR titles, one of them a world premiere: 17 talks, workshops for schools and businesses, a VIP dinner with artist Marco Vale, and a community dinner that drew 85 people.

Programme
The Showcase
Studios came from across Portugal and brought projects at various stages: from prototypes to near-finished games. Two titles used Virtual Reality, including Traffix XR, developed by Infinity Games (based at the Óbidos Technology Park), in its world premiere.
Studios consistently praised the format: showcase on one side, stage on the other: and the conditions for demos, including secure storage for equipment and direct proximity to the talks programme.
The Community
The VIP dinner on Friday brought together 54 guests: studio founders, publishers, academics, and regional stakeholders: at The Literary Man Hotel, with a talk by game artist Marco Vale on his career and what it means to be indie in Portugal.
The Saturday GameDev Community Dinner drew 85 people to the Prohibition Bar: well above the target of 50. Students arrived from Lisbon on an organised coach (30 of 35 seats filled on Saturday), connecting the Lisbon game development community with the Óbidos event.
